I sure did. Homemade art projects, pretty flowers planted by the kids themselves, a new beautiful refrigerator, a delicious chocolate donut [courtesy of the kids, but Dad's idea of breakfast in bed], a fun morning playing at home, grilling hamburgers and hot dogs in the afternoon while the kids jumped on the trampoline, then ice cream treats at DQ to end the day.
It was perfect.
